I'm also in snowy Vermont and I really love the Winter here. LOL (The longer and snowier the Winter, the better I like it!!!) As a rug hooker, there's nothing better than sitting in front of the wood stove hooking with wonderful strips of wool and cooking a big pot of soup or stew to have with crusty bread for supper!! Since I create in a folk art style, you might expect bright colours...but usually my colours are muted, grayed or darkened in the designs I create.
